METHODOLOGY FOR AVOCADO (Persea americana Mill.) ORCHARD EVALUATION USING DIFFERENT MEASUREMENT TECHNOLOGIES

Avocado crop (Persea americana Mill.) is of great commercial importance due to its high profitability. However, it being affected by various diseases and pests that affect yield reduce fruit quality. The aim this research was develop methodologies for the evaluation avocado plantations using different non-destructive technologies rapid phenotyping early detection incidence or damage stress in stem. A plot 0.7 ha. evaluated, with a total 44 individuals Field-Map technology (dasometric morphological characterization), RGB-multispectral images from Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS) (rapid phenotyping), while 15 were evaluated tomography (assessment internal state stem). results indicated there tree wood rot 14% lower acoustic speed respect other trees evaluated. correlation observed between dasometric variables (r-Pearson 0.63 0.98) estimated [crown base height, crown projection (m2 ) height] RPAS (height, perimeter area). vegetation indices do not have direct variables; five contribution variability except Normalized Difference Red Edge (NDRE). It can be concluded used study would help perform evaluations greater number reliable precise data information obtained traditional way, they replicated plots studies perennial crops, generating useful management decisions evaluation.
